New Orbit Billing Portal
At The Planet, we’re committed to helping you improve and grow your business with the best set of support tools. To that end, we’re rolling out a fresh new look and feel to the Orbit billing portal that will simplify how you manage your account with The Planet.
What do you do?
Orbit:
You will be redirected to the new version of the Orbit Account Management portal when you click on the “Accounting” link in your left-hand navigation.
Server Command:
You will be redirected the new version of the Orbit Account Management portal when you click on the “Billing” link in your left-hand navigation. A quick log-in is required to access the new billing portal.
NOTE: To view current and future Statements and, Fees & Services, as well as to update your Payment Method, you must click on “Settings” in the top navigation and then choose “Orbit” as the customer type. After doing this, simply refresh your page and the current information will be available. You may continue to view information prior to May 2008 under the “Server Command” setting. Please ensure that you refresh your page each time you change the setting from Orbit to Server Command.
What can you expect?
The improved Orbit Account Management portal features an intuitive and easy-to-use format:
Move easily between parts of your account with the use of five, always-visible navigation links: Overview, Statements, Fees & Services, Transactions, and Payment Method.
The Overview page provides an at-a-glance snapshot of your account, including your current balance and next billable date. Windows Internet Explorer users can utilize Web Parts functionality to customize this page.
The Statements page displays links to all of your invoices for the history of your account. From there you can pull up a printer-friendly version of any statement or choose to export it into an Excel worksheet.
The Fees & Services page displays an itemized list of any service performed on your account — including the service type, associated IP address and domain name – as well as the fee associated with that service.
The Transaction page displays a list of all charges and payments made on your account. Transactions can now be sorted by any date for easy pull-up of account history.
The Payment Method page displays information on credit card or bank account you have on file with The Planet. A link on this page allows you to easily change or edit the details of your payment method.

Also on March 11, we will begin consolidating customer bills for anyone who has statements in both the ServerCommand and Orbit portals. With this upgrade, you will now have a single monthly bill for your services with The Planet, viewable through the new Orbit billing portal.
